Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India passes away on 16th August 2018
Consulate General of India, Mandalay, Myanmar informs with profound grief that Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister passed away in New Delhi on 16th August, 2018 at 1705 hrs (IST).
As a mark of respect to the departed leader, Government of India has declared 7 days’ State Mourning from 16-22 August, 2018.
The Consulate will open a Condolence Book to pay homage to former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday, 20th August, 2018 and Tuesday, 21st August, 2018 from 0900 hrs-1730 hrs at No. Ta-1/25, 65th Street, Chan Mya Thazi Township, Myothit-I, Mandalay, Myanmar for all those who wish to pay respect.
