Higher Education Summit 2019' from November 27-29, 2019 at New Delhi.

    This is further to the e-gram sent by the AS (ED&States) to the HOMs/HOPs on the subject cited above.

2.  15th Higher Education Summit, 2019, a Global Conference and Exhibition being jointly organised by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GoI, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and Service Export Promotion Council (SEPC) from November 27-29, 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

3.   The event has support of Ministry of Human Resource Development and Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL). This mega-event will deliberate on the new education policy, vision for higher education in India that’s relevant not just for India but the world, developing strategies to promote India as a Global Education Hub and enhancing opportunities for international collaboration in higher education.

4.   The event will feature a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM), in which about 300 delegates from the developing regions - Africa, Middle East, CIS, Developing Asia including SAARC and Latin America have been invited to participate in B2B and B2G meetings.

5.    The delegates from these developing regions will be provided complementary economy class two-way air fare (upto USD 700), three-night hotel accommodation with breakfast, airport pick-up and drop, daily transfer between Exhibition venue and hotel, and meals during networking lunch/dinner.

6.    FICCI has informed that MAI guideline (regarding organising RBSM) issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India permits hosting delegates from developing regions only. The funds are restricted for the developed regions and the interested delegates from North America, Europe, North East Asia and Oceania may like to attend at their own expenses.

7.    Missions are requested to recommend10 to 15 Education Consultants Facilitating Overseas Admissions Approved by Respective Government/ Education Agents sending students to India or other countries/ School Principals/Influencers who guide students to decide on overseas higher education destinations and provide communication details as per below format by 28th August 2019, if not already provided.

8.     Recommended delegates may be informed to register online on the event website link: http://www.ficci-hes.com/Hosted-Delegate-Registration.php. In case they are unable to register online, they are required to send the duly filled FHES 2019 Registration Form (MS Word file) along with photo, passport, employee photo ID and Visiting/Business/Name Card to [email protected][email protected] latest by 31st August 2019.

9.    All the Missions/ Posts are requested to disseminate the information pertaining to the event among the higher education fraternity and related education associations in these countries.
